     FrameMaker

FrameMaker can be used to create a wide range of publications, books, technical manuals, letters, memos, reports, newsletters, and presentations. These can be shared across a network of different computers, allowing many authors to work on the same document. Default templates are provided for these documents.

FrameMaker integrates powerful word processing, spell checking and search-and-replace functions; it provides drawing tools, equation formatting, spot-colour separations, page design and layout, cross-references, automatic numbering, footnotes, tables, book building, a markup language, automatically generated lists (e.g. table of contents, list of figures, index) and HTML generation.

FrameMaker software delivers a powerful, enterprise-class authoring and publishing solution. With its WYSIWYG, template-based environment, FrameMaker enables scalable, single-source authoring. Create short documents or multivolume books for print or for publishing as Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), HTML, SGML, XML and more.
